Well, here we go! The penultimate game – unless theres a replay – in this years Cup Trail and still no Old Firm in sight! As my mate Martin just said to me moments ago, you could go all the way without seeing them. Well we can live in hope, and lets face it, what a refreshing end to the season it would be to see Queens against Thistle (no offence Aberdeen!). Could we emulate the English version of the tourney?? Who knows.

Well, those of you out there who are sick of me bragging about free tickets will be pleased to know that on this occasion, I’m gonna have to put my hand in my pocket, I think I’ve had a good run for my money so far (thanks mostly to the Hawkster), but as they say, all good things…….

Six of us going tomorrow, comprising two youngsters, an ex pro and his beautiful wife and my Old Trafford ticket source who is foregoing the Arsenal match on Sunday to visit Hampden for the first time. Now there’s dedication for you!
